Some chemicals used in textiles can be harmful to humans and the environment.

Their use is partly regulated by law and also the focus of NGOs and consumer protection groups.

Ensure consumer protection and legal compliance.

To help you comply with international standards, legal requirements and individual customer requirements (restricted substance lists), Hohenstein offers a broad spectrum of chemical tests for the qualitative and quantitative determination of harmful substances in textiles. The testing can be conducted on raw, intermediate and end products at all processing stages of the textile and leather production chains. The results include both the monitoring of legal compliance and the neutral assessment of product safety. This helps with both quality assurance and product optimization.

Independent certification for harmful substances.

Since 1992, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® has meant chemical safety along the textile chain and effective consumer protection. This independent testing and certification system is based on an annually updated list of criteria, which includes over 350 individual parameters. Today, the label is found on millions of products around the world.
