We all know that textile material properties influence the fit and appearance of physical clothing. This also applies to the 3D simulation of clothing. For example, textile-physical material properties determine the draping behavior of the textile in the simulation. Testing the material parameters and accurately entering the data into the software is fundamental to the simulation result. The current challenge for the user is that there are currently no standards for the digital material parameters. The session presents important basics on this topic and possible solutions.
