Test Criteria

In standardized test soil under aerobic conditions, biological activity (temperature, soil moisture, chemical oxygen demand, soil respiration, etc.) is monitored over the entire test period.

The tests can be conducted under defined laboratory conditions or in outdoor conditions relevant to practice. After a specified test period, we evaluate the product's degradation rate and the environmental compatibility or pollution caused by biodegrading products (on ecotoxicological tests or chemical analysis).

The tests are based on European and international standards for the decomposition behavior of materials after burial (e.g. EN ISO 11721, EN ISO 846 and DIN EN 13432) and agro-toxicological testing.
