Test Criteria
The physical "cooling effect" of textile materials is a measure of the evaporative cooling of a textile.
The measurement is conducted with the WATson testing device according to the validated Hohenstein method (DIN SPEC 60015).
The evaporative cooling performance is measured in watts for the sample/fabric layer. The physical cooling effect of different materials can be quantified and/or compared to the current technology leader.
